Hope is the Last Thing to Lose

Since I was little, I've never considered that I have the best of luck. I've grown up with this two beautiful sisters with an amazing body and personality, so I kept asking to myself  "why can't I be like them?". The only thing that I see myself as someone lucky for is my brain. I don't like to presume but yes, I'm pretty intelligent. Maybe it's not that I'm intelligent but sensible. Besides I don't settle like most people do, I always try to look for the best.
Anyway, another thing that didn't make me feel special was seeing all my friends having boyfriends and I wasn't. I felt that was been left behind while everyone was getting older. And my friends are so beautiful too. If you want me to be honest, I saw myself being a lonely old woman with 7 cats (yes, I love cats) because no boy would ever look at me the way some boys look at their girlfriends.
I keep saying that hope is the last thing to lose, but I never really meant it until a few months ago when this person came along, this boy. He made me realize that yes, I'm beautiful. Inside and outside.
But you shouldn't be like me, don't wait for someone to come along and tell you you're beautiful so you see it for yourself. We are all perfect in our own way, from now on every time that you look in the mirror, don't complain about your imperfections, because they are what makes you unique.
We all have days when we’re not feeling our best. Days when we don’t shine as brightly as we can because we are insecure about how we look or how others may view us. Maybe we know someone who’s struggling to find and see her own beauty. Maybe we are the ones who don’t recognize the extent of our beauty.
But regardless of how we may see or feel about ourselves, one thing holds true: we are all beautiful just the way we are. There are so many people that love us for all our individual quirks and traits. Even when we feel so small or insignificant, we are still someone’s everything. We should never be ashamed of who we are.

There is always a little flame of hope that never extinguish, you just have to try hard to find it. Wanna know why? Read the name of the blog.
